Selling a $230 Video Course to the cold audience with a Simple 2-Step VSL Funnel
Project Overview:
- The goal was to sell a $230 video course to people who found us through Google searches. Since they didn’t know us yet, we needed to build trust and keep them engaged.
The 2-Step Funnel
- Step 1: Attracting Leads with a Free Offer We started by offering a free lead magnet to collect contact information and give value upfront. This helped build trust and collect contact of the people who were interested in the course.
- Step 2: Selling the Course with a VSL The second step was a sales page with a Video Sales Letter (VSL). The video explained the course, solved common doubts and showed how it could help. We also used testimonials and bonuses to make the offer irresistible.
This funnel had a 0.3% conversion rate with the cold audience and a 57% conversion rate with referrals.
